I, 15).<br \/>\nAcestea au fost cele dint\u00e2i cuvinte ale propov\u0103duirii Dumnezeului-Om. Acelea\u015fi cuvinte ni le gr\u0103ie\u015fte \u015fi acum prin mijlocirea Evangheliei.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Atunci c\u00e2nd p\u0103catul a prins \u00een lume cea mai mare putere, s-a pogor\u00e2t \u00een ea Doctorul Cel Atotputernic. S-a pogor\u00e2t pe t\u0103r\u00e2mul surghiunului, pe t\u0103r\u00e2mul t\u00e2njirilor \u015fi p\u0103timirilor noastre \u2013 dup\u0103 care urmau muncile cele ve\u015fnice \u00een iad \u2013 bineveste\u015fte izb\u0103virea, bucuria, t\u0103m\u0103duirea tuturor oamenilor p\u00e2n\u0103 la unul. <i>Poc\u0103i\u0163i-v\u0103<\/i>!<br \/>\nPuterea poc\u0103in\u0163ei este \u00eentemeiat\u0103 pe puterea lui Dumnezeu: Doctorul este Atotputernic \u015fi doctoria dat\u0103 de El este atotputernic\u0103.<br \/>\nAtunci, \u00een vremea propov\u0103duirii Sale pe p\u0103m\u00e2nt, Domnul i-a chemat la t\u0103m\u0103duire pe to\u0163i cei bolnavi de p\u0103cat \u015fi n-a recunoscut niciun p\u0103cat ca fiind de net\u0103m\u0103duit. \u015ei acum, continu\u0103 s\u0103-i cheme pe to\u0163i; f\u0103g\u0103duie\u015fte \u015fi d\u0103ruie\u015fte iertarea oric\u0103rui p\u0103cat, t\u0103m\u0103duirea oric\u0103rei boli a p\u0103catului.<br \/>\nVoi, care pribegi\u0163i pe acest p\u0103m\u00e2nt, voi to\u0163i, care n\u0103zui\u0163i sau sunte\u0163i tra\u015fi spre calea cea larg\u0103 \u00een zarva care nu mai amu\u0163e\u015fte a grijilor, distrac\u0163iilor \u015fi veseliilor lume\u015fti, prin flori amestecate cu spini, care gr\u0103bi\u0163i pe acest drum c\u0103tre un sf\u00e2r\u015fit pe care to\u0163i \u00eel cunosc \u015fi pe care to\u0163i \u00eei uit\u0103, c\u0103tre morm\u00e2ntul \u00eentunecos, c\u0103tre o ve\u015fnicie \u015fi mai \u00eentunecoas\u0103 \u015fi cumplit\u0103, opri\u0163i-v\u0103!<!--more--> Dezmetici\u0163i-v\u0103 din vraja lumii, care v\u0103 \u0163ine far\u0103 contenire \u00een robie! Pleca\u0163i-v\u0103 urechea la ceea ce gr\u0103ie\u015fte M\u00e2ntuitorul, lua\u0163i aminte cum se cuvine la cuvintele Lui! <i>Poc\u0103i\u0163i-v\u0103 \u015fi crede\u0163i \u00een Evanghelie,<\/i> v\u0103 spune El<i>, poc\u0103i\u0163i-v\u0103: c\u0103 s-a apropiat \u00eemp\u0103r\u0103\u0163ia cerurilor.<\/i><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Foarte mare nevoie ave\u0163i voi, care pribegi\u0163i pe p\u0103m\u00e2nt, s\u0103 lua\u0163i deplin aminte la acest \u00eendemn cu adev\u0103rat folositor, m\u00e2ntuitor; altminteri, ve\u0163i ajunge la morm\u00e2nt, ve\u0163i ajunge la pragul \u015fi la por\u0163ile ve\u015fniciei far\u0103 a fi dob\u00e2ndit nici o f\u0103r\u00e2m\u0103 de \u00een\u0163elegere adev\u0103rat\u0103 nici despre ve\u015fnicie, nici despre \u00eendatoririle celui ce intra \u00een ea, preg\u0103tindu-v\u0103 \u00een ea doar \u00eendrept\u0103\u0163itele pedepse pentru p\u0103catele voastre. Cel mai greu p\u0103cat e nep\u0103sarea fa\u0163\u0103 de cuvintele M\u00e2ntuitorului, dispre\u0163uirea M\u00e2ntuitorului. <i>Poc\u0103i\u0163i-v\u0103<\/i>!<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Am\u0103gitoare, \u00een\u015fel\u0103toare, calea vie\u0163ii p\u0103m\u00e2nte\u015fti: pentru cei care o \u00eencep, ea pare o aren\u0103 far\u0103 sf\u00e2r\u015fit, plin\u0103 de adev\u0103ruri; iar celui ce o termin\u0103, \u00eei pare calea cea mai scurt\u0103 cu putin\u0163\u0103, plin\u0103 de vise de\u015farte. <i>Poc\u0103i\u0163i-v\u0103<\/i>!<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">P\u0103c\u0103tosul orbit, care \u00ee\u015fi \u00eentrebuin\u0163eaz\u0103 \u00eentreaga via\u0163\u0103 p\u0103m\u00e2nteasc\u0103 toate puterile sufletului \u015fi ale trupului pentru a dob\u00e2ndi slav\u0103, bog\u0103\u0163ie \u015fi toate celelalte agoniseli \u015fi \u00eent\u00e2iet\u0103\u0163i supuse stric\u0103ciunii, va trebui s\u0103 p\u0103r\u0103seasc\u0103 toate acestea \u00een clipele c\u00e2nd de pe suflet, cu sila, se va dezbr\u0103ca haina sa \u2013 trupul \u2013 atunci c\u00e2nd sufletul va fi dus de \u00eengeri ne\u00eendupleca\u0163i la jude\u0163ul Dreptului Dumnezeu, jude\u0163 pe care el nu-1 \u015ftie, jude\u0163 pe care \u00eel dispre\u0163uie\u015fte. <i>Poc\u0103i\u0163i-v\u0103<\/i>!<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Se ostenesc, se gr\u0103besc oamenii s\u0103 se \u00eembog\u0103\u0163easc\u0103 \u00een cuno\u015ftin\u0163e \u2013 \u00eens\u0103: numai cu cele de pu\u0163in pre\u0163, potrivite numai pentru vremelnicie, care sunt bune doar pentru a plini nevoile, \u00eenlesnirile \u015fi poftele vie\u0163ii p\u0103m\u00e2nte\u015fti. Cunoa\u015fterea \u015fi lucrarea cu adev\u0103rat trebuincioase, singurele pentru care ne-a fost d\u0103ruit\u0103 via\u0163a p\u0103m\u00e2nteasc\u0103 \u2013 cunoa\u015fterea lui Dumnezeu \u015fi \u00eemp\u0103carea cu El prin mijlocirea R\u0103scump\u0103r\u0103torului \u2013 le dispre\u0163uim cu des\u0103v\u00e2r\u015fire. <i>Poc\u0103i\u0163i-v\u0103<\/i>!<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Fra\u0163ilor! S\u0103 arunc\u0103m far\u0103 patim\u0103, \u00een lumina Evangheliei, o privire \u00een via\u0163a noastr\u0103. De\u015fart\u0103 e ea! Toate bun\u0103t\u0103\u0163ile \u00eei sunt luate prin moarte \u2013 \u015fi, adeseori, prin felurite \u00eent\u00e2mpl\u0103ri nea\u015fteptate, chiar \u00eenainte de moarte. Nevrednice sunt aceste bun\u0103t\u0103\u0163i stric\u0103cioase, a\u015fa degrab\u0103 pieritoare, a fi numite \u201ebun\u0103t\u0103\u0163i\u201d! Ele sunt, mai degrab\u0103, am\u0103giri \u015fi curse. Cei ce se poticnesc \u00een aceste curse \u015fi se \u00eencurc\u0103 \u00een ele se lipsesc de adev\u0103ratele, ve\u015fnicele, cere\u015ftile, duhovnice\u015ftile bun\u0103t\u0103\u0163i, care se dob\u00e2ndesc prin credin\u0163a \u00een Hristos \u015fi urmarea Lui pe calea cea de tain\u0103 a tr\u0103irii evanghelice. <i>Poc\u0103i\u0163i-v\u0103!<\/i><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00cen ce orbire cumplit\u0103 ne afl\u0103m! C\u00e2t de limpede dovede\u015fte aceast\u0103 orbire c\u0103derea noastr\u0103! Vedem moartea fra\u0163ilor no\u015ftri; \u015ftim c\u0103 nu vom sc\u0103pa de ea nici noi, ba, poate c\u0103 foarte degrab\u0103 ni se va \u00eenf\u0103\u0163i\u015f\u0103, fiindc\u0103 nici unul dintre oamenin-a r\u0103mas pentru totdeauna pe p\u0103m\u00e2nt; vedem c\u0103 multora \u015fi \u00eenainte de moarte li se destram\u0103 p\u0103m\u00e2nteasca bun\u0103stare, c\u0103, adeseori, ea se preschimb\u0103 \u00eentr-o restri\u015fte asemenea unei gust\u0103ri a mor\u0163ii \u00een fiecare zi. \u00cen ciuda acestei m\u0103rturii at\u00e2t de v\u0103dite a faptelor, alerg\u0103m numai dup\u0103 bun\u0103t\u0103\u0163ile cele vremelnice, ca \u015fi cum ele ar fi statornice \u015fi ve\u015fnice. Doar asupra acestora se \u00eendreapt\u0103 toat\u0103 luarea noastr\u0103 aminte! Dumnezeu e uitat! Uitat\u0103 este ve\u015fnicia cea m\u0103rea\u0163\u0103 \u015fi, totodat\u0103, \u00eenfrico\u015f\u0103toare! <i>Poc\u0103i\u0163i-v\u0103!<\/i><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Ne vor tr\u0103da, fra\u0163ilor, negre\u015fit ne vor tr\u0103da toate bun\u0103t\u0103\u0163ile stric\u0103cioase; pe boga\u0163i, \u00eei va tr\u0103da bog\u0103\u0163ia lor, pe cei sl\u0103vi\u0163i, slava lor, pe cei tineri, tinere\u0163ea lor, pe cei \u00een\u0163elep\u0163i, \u00een\u0163elepciunea lor. Numai un singur bun ve\u015fnic \u015fi nemincinos poate omul s\u0103 dob\u00e2ndeasc\u0103 pe p\u0103m\u00e2nt: adev\u0103rata cuno\u015ftin\u0163\u0103 a lui Dumnezeu, \u00eemp\u0103carea \u015fi unirea cu Dumnezeu, care ne sunt d\u0103ruite de Hristos; \u00eens\u0103, pentru primirea acestor bun\u0103t\u0103\u0163i ne\u00eentrecute, trebuie s\u0103 l\u0103s\u0103m via\u0163a p\u0103c\u0103toas\u0103, trebuie s-o ur\u00e2m. <i>Poc\u0103iti-v\u0103!<\/i><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><i>Poc\u0103i\u0163i-v\u0103!<\/i> Ce \u00eenseamn\u0103 a te poc\u0103i? \u00censeamn\u0103 a-\u0163i da seama de p\u0103catele tale, a te m\u00e2hni pentru ele, a le p\u0103r\u0103si \u2013 iat\u0103 r\u0103spunsul dat de un mare sf\u00e2nt p\u0103rinte la aceast\u0103 \u00eentrebare \u2013 \u015fi a nu te mai \u00eentoarce la ele<a title=\"\" href=\"http:\/\/invitatielaortodoxie.wordpress.com\/2013\/07\/23\/sfantul-ignatie-briancianinov-despre-pocainta\/#_ftn1\">[1]<\/a>. \u00cen acest chip, mul\u0163i p\u0103c\u0103to\u015fi s-au pref\u0103cut \u00een sfin\u0163i, mul\u0163i nelegiui\u0163i au devenit drep\u0163i.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><i>Poc\u0103i\u0163i-v\u0103!<\/i> Lep\u0103da\u0163i de la voi nu doar p\u0103catele \u00eenvederate \u2013 omorul, furtul, desfr\u00e2narea, clevetirea, minciuna \u2013 ci \u015fi distrac\u0163iile cele pierz\u0103toare, ci \u015fi \u00eenchipuirile nelegiuite, ci \u015fi g\u00e2ndurile cele f\u0103r\u0103 de lege \u2013 tot, tot ce este oprit de Evanghelie. Via\u0163a p\u0103c\u0103toas\u0103 dinainte, sp\u0103la\u0163i-o cu lacrimile poc\u0103in\u0163ei nef\u0103\u0163arnice.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Nu-\u0163i spune \u00eentru dezn\u0103dejdea \u015fi \u00eempu\u0163inarea ta sufleteasc\u0103: \u201eAm c\u0103zut \u00een p\u0103cate grele; am dob\u00e2ndit deprinderi p\u0103c\u0103toase de mult\u0103 vreme prin via\u0163a mea p\u0103c\u0103toas\u0103: cu timpul, ele s-au pref\u0103cut \u00eentr-o a doua fire, \u00eemi fac poc\u0103in\u0163a cu neputin\u0163\u0103\u201d<a title=\"\" href=\"http:\/\/invitatielaortodoxie.wordpress.com\/2013\/07\/23\/sfantul-ignatie-briancianinov-despre-pocainta\/#_ftn2\">[2]<\/a>. Aceste cugete \u00eentunecate \u0163i le insufl\u0103 vr\u0103jma\u015ful t\u0103u, pe care tu \u00eenc\u0103 nu l-ai b\u0103gat de seam\u0103 \u015fi nu l-ai priceput<a title=\"\" href=\"http:\/\/invitatielaortodoxie.wordpress.com\/2013\/07\/23\/sfantul-ignatie-briancianinov-despre-pocainta\/#_ftn3\">[3]<\/a>: el \u015ftie puterea poc\u0103in\u0163ei, se teme c\u0103 poc\u0103in\u0163a te va scoate de sub puterea lui \u015fi se str\u0103duie\u015fte s\u0103 te rup\u0103 de poc\u0103in\u0163\u0103, pun\u00e2nd o neputin\u0163\u0103 n\u0103scocit\u0103 de el pe seama doctoriei atotputernice a lui Dumnezeu.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Cel Ce a r\u00e2nduit<a title=\"\" href=\"http:\/\/invitatielaortodoxie.wordpress.com\/2013\/07\/23\/sfantul-ignatie-briancianinov-despre-pocainta\/#_ftn4\">[4]<\/a> poc\u0103in\u0163a e F\u0103c\u0103torul t\u0103u, Cel Ce te-a zidit din nimic. Cu at\u00e2t mai u\u015for \u00eei va fi s\u0103 te rezideasc\u0103, s\u0103 prefac\u0103 inima ta: s\u0103 fac\u0103 o inim\u0103 iubitoare de Dumnezeu dintr-o inim\u0103 iubitoare de p\u0103cat, s\u0103 zideasc\u0103 o inim\u0103 nou\u0103, duhovniceasc\u0103, sf\u00e2nt\u0103, dintr-o inim\u0103 \u00eenrobit\u0103 sim\u0163urilor, trupeasc\u0103, plin\u0103 de g\u00e2nduri rele \u015fi iubitoare de pl\u0103ceri.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Fra\u0163ilor! S\u0103 cunoa\u015ftem negr\u0103ita iubire a lui Dumnezeu fa\u0163\u0103 de firea omeneasc\u0103 ce a c\u0103zut. Domnul S-a \u00eenomenit, ca, prin \u00eenomenirea Sa, s\u0103 poat\u0103 lua asupra Sa pedepsele meritate de oameni \u015fi, prin p\u0103timirea Celui Atotsf\u00e2nt, s\u0103-i r\u0103scumpere de pedeaps\u0103 pe cei vinova\u0163i. Ce L-a atras la noi, aici, pe p\u0103m\u00e2nt, \u00een \u0163ara surghiunului nostru? Drept\u0103\u0163ile noastre, oare? Nu! L-a atras la noi starea jalnic\u0103 \u00een care ne aruncase p\u0103c\u0103to\u015fenia noastr\u0103.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">P\u0103c\u0103to\u015filor! S\u0103 prindem curaj. Pentru noi, anume pentru noi a s\u0103v\u00e2r\u015fit Domnul marea Sa lucrarea a \u00eenomenirii Sale; la suferin\u0163ele noastre a c\u0103utat El cu nep\u0103truns\u0103 mil\u0103. S\u0103 \u00eencet\u0103m a \u015fov\u0103i! S\u0103 \u00eencet\u0103m a ne \u00eendoi cu pu\u0163in\u0103tate de suflet! Umpl\u00e2ndu-ne de credin\u0163\u0103, de r\u00e2vn\u0103 \u015fi recuno\u015ftin\u0163\u0103, s\u0103 ne apropiem de poc\u0103in\u0163\u0103: prin mijlocirea ei, s\u0103 ne \u00eemp\u0103c\u0103m cu Dumnezeu. <i>Cel f\u0103r\u0103 de lege, dac\u0103 se va \u00eentoarce de la toate f\u0103r\u0103delegile sale, pe care le-a f\u0103cut, \u015fi va p\u0103zi toate poruncile Mele, \u015fi va face judecat\u0103, dreptate \u015fi mil\u0103, cu via\u0163\u0103 va tr\u0103i \u015fi nu va muri: toate nedrept\u0103\u0163ile lui, c\u00e2te le-a f\u0103cut, nu se vor pomeni, ci \u00eentru dreptatea sa, pe care a facut-o, va fi viu<\/i> (Iez. XVIII, 21-22). Aceasta e f\u0103g\u0103duin\u0163a pe care Dumnezeu i-o face p\u0103c\u0103tosului prin gura marelui S\u0103u prooroc.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">S\u0103 r\u0103spundem, dup\u0103 m\u0103sura slabelor noastre puteri, marii iubiri pe care o are fa\u0163\u0103 de noi Domnul, a\u015fa cum pot r\u0103spunde iubirii Ziditorului zidirile Lui \u015fi \u00eenc\u0103 \u2013 \u00a0ni\u015fte zidiri c\u0103zute: s\u0103 ne poc\u0103im! S\u0103 ne poc\u0103im nu numai cu gura; s\u0103 dovedim poc\u0103in\u0163a noastr\u0103 nu doar prin c\u00e2teva lacrimi vremelnice, nu doar lu\u00e2nd parte de ochii oamenilor la slujbele Bisericii, \u00eemplinind r\u00e2nduielile biserice\u015fti din afar\u0103 \u2013 lucru cu care se mul\u0163umeau fariseii. S\u0103 aducem \u00eempreun\u0103 cu lacrimile, cu evlavia cea din afar\u0103, \u015fi road\u0103 vrednic\u0103 de poc\u0103in\u0163\u0103: s\u0103 ne schimb\u0103m via\u0163a p\u0103c\u0103toas\u0103 cu o via\u0163\u0103 evanghelic\u0103.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><i>De ce muri\u0163i, casa lui Israel<\/i>? (lez. XVIII, 31). De ce pieri\u0163i, cre\u015ftinilor, cu moarte ve\u015fnic\u0103, din pricina p\u0103catelor voastre? De ce se umple de voi iadul, ca \u015fi cum n-ar fi fost r\u00e2nduit\u0103 \u00een Biserica lui Hristos atotputernica poc\u0103in\u0163\u0103? Acest dar este un dar nesf\u00e2r\u015fit de bun pentru casa lui Israel \u2013 cre\u015ftinii \u2013 \u00a0\u015fi, \u00een orice vreme a vie\u0163ii, asupra oric\u0103ror p\u0103cate, el lucreaz\u0103 cu aceea\u015fi putere: cur\u0103\u0163\u0103 orice p\u0103cat, m\u00e2ntuie\u015fte pe oricine alearg\u0103 la Dumnezeu, chiar dac\u0103 asta s-ar \u00eent\u00e2mpla \u00een ultimele clipe dinainte de moarte.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><i>De ce muri\u0163i, casa lui Israel?<\/i> Cre\u015ftinii mor pentru totdeauna cu moarte ve\u015fnic\u0103, fiindc\u0103, \u00een toat\u0103 vremea vie\u0163ii p\u0103m\u00e2nte\u015fti, nu se \u00eendeletnicesc cu altceva dec\u00e2t cu \u00eenc\u0103lcarea f\u0103g\u0103duin\u0163elor de la botez, cu slujirea p\u0103catului; pier, fiindc\u0103 nu iau aminte c\u00e2tu\u015fi de pu\u0163in la Cuv\u00e2ntul lui Dumnezeu, ce le veste\u015fte despre poc\u0103in\u0163\u0103. Nici \u00een clipele dinaintea mor\u0163ii nu sunt \u00een stare s\u0103 se foloseasc\u0103 de atotputernica putere a poc\u0103in\u0163ei! Nu sunt \u00een stare s\u0103 se foloseasc\u0103 de ea, fiindc\u0103 nu \u015fi-au f\u0103cut nici cea mai mic\u0103 idee despre cre\u015ftinism sau \u015fi-au f\u0103cut cea mai ne\u00eendestul\u0103toare \u015fi gre\u015fit\u0103 p\u0103rere despre el, care poate fi numit\u0103 deplin\u0103 ne\u015ftiin\u0163\u0103, mai degrab\u0103 dec\u00e2t cuno\u015ftin\u0163\u0103 de vreun fel oarecare.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><i>Viu sunt Eu, zice Domnul<\/i> \u2013 ca si cum ar fi silit s\u0103-i \u00eencredin\u0163eze mai cu t\u0103rie pe cei necredincio\u015fi \u2013 <i>viu sunt Eu, zice Domnul: nu voiesc moartea p\u0103c\u0103tosului, ci ca s\u0103 se \u00eentoarc\u0103 p\u0103c\u0103tosul de la calea sa\u015fi s\u0103 fie viu\u2026<\/i> (Iez. XXXIII, 11). <i>De ce muri\u0163i, casa lui Israel?\u2026<\/i><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Cuno\u015ftea Dumnezeu neputin\u0163a oamenilor, \u015ftia c\u0103 ei \u015fi dup\u0103 botez vor c\u0103dea \u00een p\u0103cat: din aceast\u0103 pricin\u0103, a r\u00e2nduit \u00een Biseric\u0103 Taina Poc\u0103in\u0163ei, prin care se cur\u0103\u0163\u0103 p\u0103catele s\u0103v\u00e2r\u015fite dup\u0103 botez.
